Biography

Jeremy Vain grew up in upstate South Carolina. For his 4th birthday, his parents took him to the Greenville Memorial Auditorium to see NWA Wrestling featuring a main event of Ric Flair vs Dusty Rhodes in a World Championship Match. He claims from that day, he knew he was going to be a big star in the wrestling business. Of course, he also claims he learned "all he needed to know to be an all time great before ever stepping into a ring" by regularly attending the matches in Greenville, SC. That's the kind of pompous attitude this jerk has though. Its frequently said backstage, that if you want to know how great Vain is...just ask him. Unfortunately, he can back up MOST of what he says. Inside the squared circle, by hook or by crook, Jeremy Vain is a force to be reckoned with.

Debuting in June of 2001, this nearly 9 year veteran has blazed quite a trail of accomplishments. He held various championships on the Carolina indy scene in his rookie year and soon after, began spending most of his time competing in Georgia. During his stint for NWA Wildside, Vain held the Tag Team Championship on 2 occasions with partner Brandon Pheonix, and spent a lot of time competing against RPW's own Murder One. When NWA Wildside folded in 2005, the company was renamed NWA Anarchy, a company for which Vain has held both the Tag Team Championship and Heavyweight Championship. Vain also holds the dubious honor of being the ONLY four time NWA World Television Champion in the title's rich history.

Since debuting in RPW in mid-October, Vain has made his mark by taking top stars such as Micah Taylor, Jimmy Rave, and Vordell Walker to their limit. He has also endeared himself to the RPW fans by quickly establishing himself as one of the sleaziest competitors to ever grace the rings of RPW. Carrying with him an attitude he admits was somewhat inspired by former foe, Murder One, Vain has claimed that within a year, he will be at the very top of RPW, carrying the Heavyweight Championship. Thats an awfully bold statement considering his win/loss record since coming to RPW. However, with his reputation proceeding him, it is certainly possible. And with that possibility comes the statement that has become Vain's trademark catch phrase "Remember the name, because you'll all be screaming it later!" Only time will tell.
