The All-Star vs. Drew Adler
The September 4, 2010 edition of Rampage Pro Wrestling kicks off with action immediately in the ring. After making his “debut” last week by attacking Sugar Dunkerton during his match, the All-Star is stepping into the ring for the first time. He is accompanied by the RPW Heavyweight Champion “Coach” Shaun Banks. His opponent this week will be Drew Adler. All-Star spends a few minutes systematically wearing down Adler. Once he has him where he wants him, the cockiness and hijinks begin. As Coach Banks has referee Danny Star tied up on the apron, All-Star straddles Adler's legs between the turnbuckle and hits him below the belt, perhaps for a “field goal” of sorts. As he attempts to perform the maneuver again, all of a sudden Sugar Dunkerton appears out nowhere. Returning the favor for last week, Dunkerton hits All-Star with a sit-down facebuster and quickly exits. Adler jumps on top of him to get the 1-2-3 for a monumental upset victory!
WINNER: Drew Adler
An absolutely livid All-Star and Coach Banks sulk around ringside for a few minutes after Adler quickly leaves to celebrate his victory.
Backstage, The Jones Boys are talking about this week's main event, which will see them, the Usual Suspects, and Adryan Hawkins & Jeremy Vain take on the Exotic Ones in a sudden death-rules four-corners match for the RPW Tag Team Championship. The team that gets the losing decision will be forced to break up. Both Mr. Jones & Velvet Jones make it clear that their top priority is revenge against the Exotic Ones.
In Commissioner Sal Rinauro's office, Rinauro and Marvelous Michael Stevens are discussing how Stevens was able to hire an “assistant assistant general manager”. Suddenly, Sugar Dunkerton barges in to gloat about what he just did to the All-Star. Rinauro uncharacteristically joins Dunkerton in the hilarity. Stevens jumps in and wonders why they don't like the All-Star. He is, of course, completely ignored while they continue their discussion.
Backstage, Adryan Hawkins & Jeremy Vain are discussing the title match. They are very confident that they will walk out with the gold. Vain says that despite the fact they took a payoff from Big Bank Barfield one time, he doesn't have the money to stop them from taking the gold away from the Exotic Ones.
The champions, the Exotic Ones, are now backstage discussing the match. Simon Sermon says that even though they have a bulls-eye painted on their chests, no matter what happens, he and Tommy Too Much will be “together forever”. Big Bank Barfield says that the greatest investment he ever made was purchasing the contract of the Exotic Ones. He declares that they will leave the ring as champions.
We are back in the ring and Commissioner Rinauro and Assistant Stevens are heading to the ring. Rinauro calls out Kyle Matthews. Matthews comes to the ring with Jimmy Rave. Rinauro mentions Matthews' performance against Bryan Danielson (WWE's Daniel Bryan) at the 2010 Sizzling Summer Bash. He informs him that he has earned a shot at Shaun Banks' RPW Heavyweight Title tonight. Banks quickly enters the ringside area and tells Rinauro that he doesn't have to defend his title tonight because he's met all his previous obligations in the last 30 days. Rinauro agrees and says he can't force him to defend the title tonight, but he can put him in a non-title match. Rinauro calls out for a referee because it is starting right now. Referee Brent Wiley comes to ringside and calls for the bell.
Non-Title Match
Shaun Banks vs. Kyle Matthews
Matthews immediately begins the attack by focusing his strategy on the arm. Matthews knows Banks' signature move is the elbow drop off the top rope, so perhaps he is trying to lessen its effectiveness. Matthews keeps a steady line of offense going until Banks catches him with a painful stun-gun type move. Capitalizing on the change of fortune, Banks begins working on the head and neck area of Matthews. Banks attempts to finish him off with a sleeper, but the damage Matthews inflicted on the arm proved to weaken it enough for Matthews to fight out of it. Both men go back and forth with blows until Matthews blasts Banks with a superkick. Banks rolls out of the ring to catch his breath, but Matthews hits a sensational dive through the ropes onto Banks. We go to commercial as both men attempt to recover from the carnage outside the ring. Both men are back in the ring. Matthews attempts a top rope move, but Banks flips him off the ropes. Banks goes for the elbow drop to finish off Matthews, but Matthews moves just at the last second. Matthews hits the devastating Slurpee kick and gets the victory!
WINNER: Kyle Matthews
Backstage, the Usual Suspects are discussing the upcoming main event. A.J. Steele is speaking about how they have a personal motivation for this match to take out the Exotic Ones. Steele has a very calm demeanor about him, which Murder One doesn't take very well. M1 gets in the camera and makes very direct threats to the Exotic Ones, saying they're coming to get them and to get their titles back.
RPW Tag Team Championship Four-Corners Match (Sudden Death Rules)
Jeremy Vain & Adryan Hawkins vs. The Usual Suspects vs. The Jones Boys vs. The Exotic Ones
This title contest is this week's main event, with very good reason. The RPW Tag Team Titles are on the line and, remember, the team that gets the losing decision must break up. This match has the makings of absolute carnage and referee Dustin Robinson has his hands completely full on this one. This match featured so much insanity, it's hard to keep track of an articulate. The beginning of the end took place when Tommy Too Much had Velvet Jones in the middle of the ring and multiple fights took place outside the ring. Big Bank Barfield jumped up and attempted to hand off the pliers to Tommy. Velvet intercepted them, but was unable to use them. As Velvet reached to the outside to hit Simon Sermon, Simon blasted Velvet in the head with his cast. Tommy rolled him up to amazingly escape with the gold.
WINNERS and STILL RPW Tag Team Champions: The Exotic Ones
With this result, the Jones Boys are now forced to break up as a tag team. The final image of this week's show is seeing the two cousins realize their time as a team has come to an end without them being able to meet their ultimate goal: become the RPW Tag Team Champions.
